On the morning of December 23, a delegation led by Professor Yang Zhixin, Director of the Office of Research Services and Intellectual Achievement Transformation, University of Macau, visited SMAE. Dean Zhou Xiaoqin and Vice Dean Wang Jixin of the School, Professor Xuan Yubo of College of Communication Engineering, as well as relevant students met with the guests.

Wang Jixin firstly extended a warm welcome to the delegation. Zhou Xiaoqin awarded Yang zhixin a letter of appointment in the ceremony held in Meeting Room 529. After the ceremony, Yang Zhixin gave the report "Multi-scale Urban Electromechanical Infrastructure Safety Monitoring Under IoTs Frame" for SMAE teachers and students.

A  discussion  was held after the report,  in which Yang said that the University of Macau has distinct running characteristics and disciplinary advantages, and has great potential for cooperation and common goals with Jilin University in the fields of cooperative research and personnel training. It is hoped that teachers and students of the two universities will continue to enhance exchanges and interaction, combine the characteristics and advantages of the two universities to carry out in-depth cooperation, and jointly train scientific and technological talents.
