In order to further improve the reliability of CNC equipment and the service performance of materials to promote the high-quality development of manufacturing equipment, thus serving the country’s major strategic needs and promoting the construction of a leading manufacturer of quality, the first academic conference on “CNC Equipment Reliability and Material Service Performance” was held in Jilin University (JLU) from 2 to 4 November. The conference was co-hosted by Reliability Engineering Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Jilin University, Beijing University of Technology, Tsinghua University, Tianjin University, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Dalian University of Technology, the JournalManufacturing Technology and Machine Tool, Chongqing Research Institute of Jilin University and other units.
Prof. Zhao Hongwei, Member of CPC Standing Committee and Vice President of JLU made the opening speech. Prof. Xie Liyang, Executive Deputy Director of Reliability Engineering Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society addressed at the conference. The conference was hosted by Prof. Zhou Xiaoqin, Dean of School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Prof. Liu Zhifeng, deputy director of Key Laboratory of CNC Equipment Reliability, Ministry of Education, etc.
